A2F In-House Menu

 Before

 After

OVERVIEW

Allow clients to easily see what food and liquor spots are nearby. Reduces the risk of interns making bad suggestions, and clients getting upset later. Linked to ordering apps to reduce staff from having to make runs to pick up food. Controls which options are available to reduce the distance that staff have to drive when picking up food. Small detail that sets A2F apart from local competitors.

ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA:

-Must be print and digital version
-Must have company logo on each page
-Must link to correct restaurant on ordering app
-Must include “Staff Fav” icon to relevant restaurants

My Contributions:

I was responsible for redesigning the original menu (as seen above). While doing so, was required to collect everybody list of favorite local eateries, reduce the list to the common mentions, collect high quality images for each establishment, collect their contact info, add logos with proper links to each ordering app available, and create a “Staff Favs” icon to accompany the chosen restaurants.

DELIVERABLES

-Multipage online (PDF) and print menu
-For each restaurant, a list of which platforms the allow online order from
-Links for each restaurant attached to the logo of each third party ordering app
-Contact and business information for each restaurant
-Staff favorite custom symbol

CONSTRAINTS

-”Staff Favs” is very opinionated and may make clients upset if they choose where to eat based off of this

Rationale:

Since the menu was already lengthy and a bit busy, I decided to keep a great deal of unison among the pages (as far as the layout). Additionally, I attempted to categorize the options as best I could, seeing as before the food option categories were not the most logical.
