New Logo for A2F Studios

OVERVIEW
Modernizing/creating an alternative logo that is able to be branded onto multiple items (shirts, blankets, lighters, grinders, etc). The original logo was found to be outdated, and had difficulty being put onto textured or multicolor products.
ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA:
-Must display “A2F” lettering
-Must be legible
-Must be able to be engraved, embossed, or printed onto different surfaces/materials
My Contributions:
While I was allowed creative freedom, my boss upholds a standard of “minimalist luxury". Creating a logo to fit that aesthetic is the only direction I was given.
DELIVERABLES
-New alternate logo
CONSTRAINTS
-Not given clear instruction
-No prior style guide to base colors and type faces off of
Rationale:
The former logo was very old and outdated, and the company did not previously have a style guide. To try and maintain some resemblance of the original logo, I had to trace and draw the lettering of the former logo to match the type faces. Since the only uniformity the three characters (A, 2, and F) had in common was a horizontal line, I decided to join them.
